There have ven been calls to consider left ventricular (LV) or bivenricular (BiV) pacing as the optimal lead configuration for acing systems in patients without congestive heart failure CHF). We recently participated in a debate on this topic nd felt that it was important to objectively assess the vidence for and against employing RV apical pacing as the tandard for ventricular pacing lead location.
